The practice was established in April 1992.

Dr Christine Hands and her husband Nigel, a builder, bought Toi Toi hall and completely gutted the interior to convert it to a high standard veterinary practice. Drs. Martin and Linda Collins purchased the practice in February 1998, after being in practice in England for 12 years.  Dr. Jonathan Robinson, from Zimbabwe, joined them in 2003.  

Dr Carol Cathman joined the Practice in October 2006 when, due to ill health Dr Martin Collins reduced his hours to part time.  In 2008 Dr Melanie Zwiener joined the practice when Dr Martin Collins passed away.

The current team of four vets bring an excellent mix of skills and experience with prior experience in Africa, the UK, USA and Germany.
